KC's Aviary is a small closed breeding facility in western Washington state. We raise and keep a variety of breeding pairs, and our focus is to provide our community with the best pet birds possible. We strive to maintain a level of excellence and care for our birds, while sharing our knowledge of aviculture with anyone who has an interest. Please keep in mind that we are hobby breeders, not a large scale operation. We breed because we love our guys and want to share our experiences with our community!

All of our babies are closed banded, numbered, and we keep records of each baby we sell. Our trade bands are purple, placed on the left feet of our babies, and are marked with the initials KCA, the state WA, and a three-digit number. If you have a baby with one of our bands, please contact us with the band number and we will be happy to give you the complete history of that little guy.

The majority of our babies are not sold directly from us to the public. We have a few select local bird specialty stores and breeders to which we wholesale our babies. The babies are raised and weaned by these caring individuals and are then available to the public. To assure our babies are properly cared for and weaned, we carefully select those parties to which we wholesale- you can see them on our Links Page.

Sometimes, we do hold back clutches to raise and wean ourselves. Those special little guys are listed and retailed on our Available Birds Page. If you are interested in a particular species that we breed, please feel free to call or email us and we will help you find that special little guy to call your own.

We also retail a small amount of food and products on our Supplies and Store Page. While this is not a full line by any means, these are the products and brands that we personally give to our birds. You can go to our Links Page to find our preferred full line retailers.
